    - Throughout my entire school career I have shown academic excellence, having always had straight A's even in challenging courses This is a demonstration of my responsibility both in and out of school I am an extremely hard worker and a perfectionist This ties into two of my greatest strengths; dedication and hardworking If I am not good at something, I will make sure I keep going at it until it's right As well as this, I am also detail-oriented I want to make sure I have something completely correct before I perform it I enjoy helping others in a positive way that also gives good corrections

    - One area that I feel could have better organization is everyone working on something even when they are not being worked with I would help improve this by kindly and respectfully asking individuals to work on something either by themselves or in a group

    - If a conflict where to occur, I would first privately talk to the individuals involved to get each persons side of the story If someone was clearly in the wrong, I would then talk to them about it and tell them how what they did was not right and how to fix it in the future

    - To help motivate my team on a particularly difficult day, I would pull everyone aside and give them a pep talk For me personally, those little talks helped keep me motivated throughout last season which is why I would choose to do this for our team this season

    - One past leader I had in guard was Ava Almonte, who was a captain I felt she was an extremely good leader because although she was very nice and fun, she was also charismatic and gave good corrections She was definitely one of my role models when I first joined guard for her amazing leadership and social qualities

    - A major obstacle that I had to overcome during my time in guard was feeling unimportant, or like I wasn't where I wanted to be However, these feelings pushed and motivated me to practice and work hard to achieve my goals throughout the season I have improved a lot due to this, and I am very proud of my accomplishments thus far

Past Leadership Roles

     I am a former swimmer, and I was in the best group on my team. For this, I also had to take on leadership responsibilities such as leading teammates in relay races as well as motivating my team and friends to shoot for better times.

     I also participated in leadership in my elementary school. I raised money and products for the Priceless Pets organization. We also had to make many posters that said encouraging and positive things for other students to see.
