Dynamic leader with a proven track record as Founder and President of the UNB Terry Fox Society, where I spearheaded initiatives supporting students affected by cancer. Recognized for my public speaking and creative writing skills, I excel in engaging diverse audiences and fostering community through impactful events and humanitarian efforts.
In collaboration with the Terry Fox Foundation and the UNBSU, I made UNB one of Canada's first universities to have a Terry Fox initiative to support students impacted by cancer, and raise money for cancer research. I support an executive team of six UNB students who are driven humanitarians, devoted to the cause. This year, we won the UNB Student Union Recognition Award's "Rookie of the Year" award.
I help to run programming for children who have witnessed or experienced domestic violence. Creating a safe space for youth while mothers attend group counseling sessions.
I am currently the recipient of the national Terry Fox Humanitarian Award, one of the most prestigious and recognized awards in the country.
Worked one-on-one with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Delivered camp programming, personal care, and created inclusive activities for a wide range of abilities.
I was assigned to a handful of menstrual hygiene product dispensers on campus and regularly ensured they were full. I also attended Fredericton's Multicultural Fair and set up a booth for the society, educating and promoting the society's goals and helping to end the stigma around periods.

Provided academic and personal support to students in the Faculty of Arts. I led university tours and exam prep sessions for first-year students, and helped organize events like pumpkin painting for Halloween.

I taught swim lessons and swim-to-survive skills to children and adult refugees, as well as immigrants who have made Fredericton their new home. I helped to foster an enjoyable environment in the water where many newcomers struggled with a fear of water.
