• Assist with assessment, intake, transition, and discharge of clients entering/exiting the withdrawal

management unit.

• Demonstrate strong crisis intervention and participant stabilization skills.
• Monitor the medication line and observe client’s medication self-administration.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the treatment team and communicates any behavioral concerns to the client’s Case Manager, Mental Health Clinician, Counselor, Physician, and Psychiatrist
• Documentation must be maintained in compliance with agency policy and procedures, HIPAA, 42- CFR, and funder standards.

• Administer medications safely ensuring the six rights of medication administration are followed.
• Count and sign the approved form, all narcotics with approved personnel before accepting medication keys. Alert director immediately with discrepancies.
• Receive and verify medicine received is accurate according to pharmacy label and MAR.
• Provide personal care to residents including, but not limited to, bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, incontinence care, skin care, etc.
• Document appropriate information in daily log as required
