Carry a caseload of up to seven youth aged 18-22

• Meet regularly with youth to provide support and increase knowledge in finance, nutrition, budgeting, cooking, home maintenance
• Complete written contact notes and monthly reports as well as maintain file requirements
• Support youth in maintaining a day program (work or school)
• Support youth in mastering the living skills needed to be interdependent-which may include money management, cooking, self-care, education, employment
• Help facilitate “Workshops” – Bi-Monthly learning sessions for the youth
• Work effectively with a service team that includes TAP Workers/CIP Workers to help best support the youth.

• Worked with both female and male youth in a Transitional Independent Living Program
• Assisted the youth in settling into the house, establishing routines, and maintaining their independence through staff supports
• Participated in both written and oral exchange of information, such as youth logs, the staff log book, and monthly written reports
• Responsible for weekly planning of the menu and grocery shopping list, as well as monthly recreation calendars

• Responsible for the daily care of children aged five to twelve before and after school and during the summer months while their parents are at work
• Prepared and follow through with planned activities for the children
• Prepared snack two times a day for the children and encourage healthy choices and healthy living
• Ensured a safe and clean environment that is in good repair following a cleaning schedule
• Communicated with parents, both verbally and in writing, on a regular basis
