• Performs Charge Nurse role managing all three departments cohesively Acute Care, ER, and Labour and Delivery.
• Educator for Rural Orientation Program for new employees. Provided classroom education and on unit orientation for Acute Care and Emergency.
• Provided mentorship for multiple Grad Nurses or newly licensed Registered Nurses
• Member of White Rose Program within hospital. Provided education for nurses on resources available for compassionate care for grieving families.
• Space Lab cardiac monitor super user. Provides education/orientation and review of current policy on cardiac monitors in ER and Acute Care.

Started as an Undergrad Nurse on Acute Care after finishing second year of nursing program. Continued as a Grad Nurse, managing higher acuity patients as knowledge, skills and experience increased.
