Kayla Higginson

I was responsible for caring for two young children. My daily tasks included helping them get ready for school and supervising them during the day.

I co-founded an American Sign Language club, and as treasurer, I was not only in charge of handling any profits or savings made, but I coordinated club meetings and brainstormed activities with my fellow club members.

I volunteered remotely with Zooniverse as part of my community service for the National Honor Society in high school. I gained experience volunteering remotely and learning new technology on the spot.
