1hr volunteer shifts every Monday morning at the Purdy Pavillion (UBC Hospital). This position is meant to help the physiotherapists by escorting residents to see the physiotherapist, do wheelchair follows, and make meaningful conversation with the residents.

A 6-hour shift per week volunteer commitment. This volunteer position is in the BC Children's Hospital Emergency Department. Duties include, reading study SOPS, approaching patients for participation in studies, screening participants, interacting with clinicians and nurses, and formally reporting approaches.

Working part-time on the HEARTSMAP-U project, a study that pertains to mental health within the UBC student population. Duties include zoom calls with participants (data collection), analysis of data, forming analysis for indigenous data collected in the project, and literature reviews. Skills needed are zoom literacy, knowledge in quantitative and qualitative research, proficiency in REDCap, proficiency in Microsoft applications, and interpersonal skills.

This is a continuation of the sexual and reproductive health and rights project that was originally at CAAN. The project moved over in March of 2024 to McGill. The duties and responsibilities are identical. It is a part time position.

Researching sexual reproductive health rights and HIV/AIDS within indigenous women, girls, and two-spirited individuals. Duties I have fulfilled are budgeting focus groups, literature and scoping reviews, ethics review/applying, and collaborating with other research associates and community members on research questions. Skills required are research methods, TCPS ethics, full use of microsoft 365, and critical thinking.
