Volunteer Lead Counselor 2023-Present

  • Provided guidance and support to visually impaired children at various camps. Over the past year, which include PD Days, March break Camp, and Summer Camps. Ensuring that all other volunteers were prepared for the day and had a clear breakdown of their schedule, in addition to camp programs, I have volunteered at CNIB's weekly programs, where I assist in teaching children and youth with low vision essential life skills such as cooking and baking, while also ensuring they are comfortable and engaged in the activities. Assisting them in navigating their environment to enhance their experience and self-confidence.
