At the Disneyland Resort, I took pride in making sure guests and employees are safe by checking their bags for any prohibited items, responding to emergency calls via two-way radios with assistance of on-site nurses for record keeping, and operating metal detectors at an efficient manner. I also implemented foot patrol and conducted area checks utilizing a company vehicle inside the massive theme park and perimeter for added safety measures while documenting reports using a computer in a detailed manner. Some of my shifts also included working in security booths to verify contractors and then keeping track of logs of their company and personal information.
WeServe is a high-end company that focuses on providing guest service at a high level all across the Las Vegas Strip. I was part of the opening team for the then brand new T-Mobile arena back in 2016 as an usher working primetime events such as Vegas Golden Knights Hockey, WWE, College Basketball Tournaments, iHeart Music Festivals, and George Strait concerts. I got promoted to be security at Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino and other mass venues, working residencies for global superstars such as Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga and Backstreet Boys. I was then appointed as a Security Ambassador for the Backstreet Boys Pre-Show Meet & Greets and I had the chance to enforce Artist’s security protocols and standards among guests attending the exclusive event while monitoring them for possible medical and safety measures. My primary duties as an Usher while working at arenas with large crowds included assisting guests by collecting admission tickets and passes, assisting in finding assigned seats, searching for lost personal items, and locating requested facilities such as restrooms and medical aid.
