I am a Mohawk Haudenosaunee Woman of the Wolf Clan from Six Nations.

Through my journey I have ( in no particular order)

  • acquired the skills of sewing regalia not only for myself but also for my children
  • be an active advocate for justice
  • acquired knowledge about the mainstream education system and how it needs to evolve to support the Indigenous Community in a Good Way
  • learning the languages of Mohawk, Oneida, and Cayuga, sharing this knowledge with my grandchildren
  • developing printed language materials with the Oneida language
  • unlearning Colonizer's values and relearning, strengthening my own
  • became an active Community member in London as I had in Hamilton through Home and School at my Grandson's school
  • I am a researcher
