Preventative measures were consistently in use at all times to ensure the mitigation of communicable illnesses, pediculosis, and infestations.

Emergency Care Worker
Red Cross / Red Crescent
, MB, SASK, BC
04.2021 - 10.2022
I participated in the daily operations of the COVID testing sites and the numerous immunization clinics where I was stationed.
My main focus was to aid beneficiaries in accessing pandemic-associated services, should they choose to, and to support each designated Ministry of Health and the Independent Health Authorities in serving the Canadian citizens within their jurisdictions.
There was no semblance of an established operating standard for pandemic response, and helping to evolve that process was extremely challenging.
Regarding the independent health authorities and the ministries of health, I was able to provide feedback to support the development of the territorial online delivery system known as Imms BC. SAS and IMBI regularly tracked errors in the system that my Red Cross-deployed teams encountered and reported database issues to the developer, the independent health authorities, and the ministries of health to promote a more efficient operating system.
In truth, we did not complete this goal, and as an organization we did fail. Red Cross/ Crescent abandoned their own fundamental principles: Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence & Unity. After nine deployments, SARS, H1N1, Senegalese health initiatives, and humanitarian response tenures, I will no longer volunteer, work, or participate in the organization.
