At Peak Equestrian I am committed to providing a fun and educational environment for my athletes to thrive. I work to provide individual programs for riders and equine to meet each individualized partnership.
My coaching philosophy is centered around positively building strong foundations between horse and rider. I thrive to develop riders' feel and competence by sharpening their skills though detail-oriented exercises. I look to build riders that are effective and understanding in their aids and how their actions as a rider change their horse’s ability to perform. I often have conversations with my students and parents where we plan and analyze gaps in our current training program, look for things we can constantly improve on and of course always focus on the welfare of our equine partners. To me riding is as much of a mental game as physical, it is a challenging sport in which we rise and fall. I like to build my students up with confidence and strongly believe in fostering a “can do” attitude.
I will always prioritize inclusion over diversity. I believe all riders should feel safe, welcomed and valued.

I always try to contribute to my professional development by
*Riding with a professional coach at a higher level than myself
*Attending clinics that are offered
*Keeping up to date with all online courses required
*Watching videos of upper level coaches and learning about their drills and skills
