Under Graduate Projects

  • Deindustrialization and Strategies towards Industrialization in Syria, Macroeconomics project about the main reasons why Syria is deindustrialized. Collected, analyzed data after translating the resources from Arabic to English, resources were translated from books written in formal Arabic, interviews with Arab economists, and phone calls with university professors. Built models by using Excel, to point at what policies and steps the government and the central bank should follow to make it an industrialized country.
  • A Comparative Study of the Healthcare Systems of Canada, USA, and the UK, Microeconomics project analyzes data for these countries using E-views to compare the coverage of healthcare system, funding and financing, costs and drivers of health costs, providers, and markets of healthcare. Historical healthcare expenditure for all three countries.
  • Money supply and GDP in Canada, Econometrics project to examine the correlation between money supply and GDP in Canada during a period captured three economic cycles; boom, recession and recovery. As the empirical analysis found evidence of strong linear correlation between money supply and economic growth, or GDP, at long run. Built models after analyzing data by E-views and the results of math equations using R-studio.
