I am able to effectively communicate with confidence in what is required in order for our team to execute tasks at had. This is equally as important as a People Manger in order to be able to communicate with my team so they understand processes, requirements as well as feel at any time they can come to me and feel comfortable in doing so.

  • Strategic Influencing, I have used the past experiences and skills that I have learned and can use these to surpass current and future obstacles or problems. Dear Recruitment Team,

My name is Kathryn Kelley, and I began my career with Scotiabank January 1989. During my 34 years I have held various positions from Senior accounting clerk to my most recent position of Manager Technology of Operations. During my tenure I have gained valuable knowledge in both the Retail, Technology and Operational sectors. Over the past 20 plus years my positions have been within the Operations Departments which have provided me with a vast amount of knowledge in various sectors not only for managing staff but implementation of new processes, systems and business line creations and consolidations. . I have built great relationships within all business lines of Global Ops which I feel would be a great benefit to the current position to which I am applying for.

In 2016 the Centralized accounting units closed across Canada at which time I had to make the difficult decision whether to peruse other career opportunities or transfer to the Tahoe Campus located in Mississauga. I am thankful everyday that my choice was to take the leap. Not only has it given me greater experience and knowledge but enabled me to move ahead in my career and long-term career goals.

I am an individual who is highly motivated and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
