Kathleen Carroll

Having the opportunity to ride and volunteer at Little Rock Farm has been an amazing experience. My tasks are: barn chores, feeding horses, leading children on horses, and assisting in teaching beginner riders.

I have had the opportunity to volunteer at Willow Creek Newfoundland Pony Rescue. It has been a valuable experience in teaching me to multi-task, follow directions, adhere to rules and regulations as well as work in a busy environment.

I have been able to use my love of animals to obtain a position walking dogs . This has helped me to further my reponsibilities and experience as the dogs are high-spirited and need constant vigilence to maintain safety while walking. 

Cadets has been a valuable experience. I have had opportunities to work with the public, and within the squadron. I have gained independence, leadership skills and learned effective communication skills.
