• Lead the federal, state/provincial, and local environmental permitting and approvals, compliance and regulatory planning processes for utility scale solar and storage projects in Ontario, Alberta, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Illinois.
• Oversee work of multidisciplinary stakeholders including Landscape Architects, Geologists, Civil, Electrical, and Noise Engineers, Archeologists, Biologists, and Surveyors, throughout environmental impact studies, preliminary engineering design, special use permit and site plans to acquire regulatory approval prior to construction.
• Execute daily project management activities: developed scope of work, scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, communication protocols, document control, and preparation of corporate strategic plans and board approvals.
• Direct procurement process, including preparation of RFP documents; lead scoping meetings, review proposals for final selection, and manage contractual obligations.
• Represent Samsung with landowners, government officials, and the community at large; supported public outreach programs for mid-stage projects, launched project website, monitored social media, and hosted public open houses and stakeholder meetings.

• Selected for an internship with Metrolinx’ Department of Policy and Planning, providing vital assistance in development of regional transportation plan for the GTA and Hamilton regions.
• Compiled comparative analytical report for senior management covering regional transportation planning best practices across North American and European cities, examining key metrics such as travel time and transportation costs.
• Assumed leadership for growing and managing stakeholder database comprised of key information sources in municipal governance, transportation, rail and aviation industries, and relevant NGOs.

• Developed in-depth technical report and package of concept plan options using AutoCAD, outlining technical and regulatory limitations for a proposal to develop new hangars on airport property.
• Assisted Senior Planners to update Airport’s Master Plan, researching Airport Zoning Regulations and cataloguing conditions (i.e. noise, bird hazards) to inform C-Suite decision-making.

• Performed financial feasibility studies including cost/benefit and ratio analysis, quantitative/qualitative market analysis, and researched sources of financing at both the provincial and federal levels.
