I am a high school student interested in a career in law and/or government. As I begin my professional journey, I am seeking opportunities through which I can help those who are unable to help themselves. I have always had a deep passion for social justice. Through my synagogue, Leo Baeck, I have learned about many of the challenges we contend with on a daily basis, like food insecurity, homelessness, immigration, racism, and sexism. I have attended rallies and marches, lobbied Congress, traveled to the border to assist migrants, and heard countless first-hand accounts of those who have experienced society’s shortcomings.
