  • Arrive 15 mins early every day for: Snow gear prep, Morning Safety meeting, get assigned to a lift for the day
  • Go to instructed lift and make sure all safety measures are followed as: Pen set up for in front of lift
  • Clear any excess snow from deck, walkways, roofs of huts, and overall your entire work area
  • Set up safety flags for slow zones, signage for at the base and top of the lifts, keep emergency equipment cleared of snow
  • Radio mobile 3 to ensure the lift has been checked by maintenance and is safe to start for the day
  • Keep in constant radio contact with your team (both on your lift and the other lifts on the hill) and memorize codes for different situations
  • Once cleared by mobile 3, start lift, and ensure all safety stops are working and in order
  • Remain alert at all times for emergency situations and react appropriately and calmly
  • Contact other lift operators to ensure they have arrived at their hut and their safety stops are operable
  • Throughout the day: ensure all guests feel safe, welcome, and have the most memorable day at norquay! Ensure lift hut is kept clean and organized
