I am currently a Registered Social Worker with over 24 years of experience working with individuals across the life span in many settings, including hospital, child welfare and mental health and addictions. Over the last 10 years, as a hospital-based social worker, I have developed a high level of competency in dealing with complex family dynamics, adjustment counseling, end of life support, chronic health and disease management, and discharge planning, while working in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

I maintain a strong commitment to patient-centered care and goal setting in collaboration with formal and informal support systems. In my role as a Health Care Social Worker, my role and responsibilities include providing a diverse range of interventions to patients enabling them to achieve their optimal level of functioning and health.

Interventions included, but were not limited to:
