Scrubbed kitchen appliances, countertops and fixtures.
Followed safety procedures when handling hazardous materials.
Ensure daily cleaning standards are met in resident and public areas.
Deep clean assigned rooms. (5 per day; this includes cleaning and sanitizing the whole dwelling, replenishing toiletries, emptying garbage, and mopping floors.) and charting on iPads.
Clean all other residents' washrooms, and empty garbage on the assigned house while charting on iPads.
Taking water temperatures in all rooms and documenting them on iPads.
Check and clean the TV room as needed.
- Vacuum the hallways on both the long and short wings
Clean and sanitize the nurse’s station, and remove garbage as needed.
Clean and sanitize and remove garbage from all public use washrooms found on the house.
Clean and sanitize and remove garbage from all spa rooms including toilets, sink and bathtub.
Clean and sanitize and remove garbage from staff washrooms and lounges. Lounge locations
Clean and sanitize the dining room chairs and tables on an ongoing basis, complete in conjunction with Nutrition.
During an outbreak clean all isolation rooms no less than twice per shift.
Check daily, and change any chemicals needed in the dispensing unit found in the housekeeping closet.
Make sure the housekeeping cart is stocked for the next shift.
Take all garbage in the soiled linen room down to the garbage bin. Re-stock mop heads in the laundry chute room. Send soiled rags and mop heads down to the laundry for cleaning.
Thoroughly clean the dining room table, chairs, and floors bi-weekly.
