SMART METERING APPLICATIONS AUTOMATION: (CAWA, Shell Script)

Created CAWA jobs that would execute specific shell scripts to call smart meters remotely and bring in the meter reads. Developed Shell scripts which would automatically restart the production application server and the services on it. The project drastically reduced manual efforts by 90% and the time needed to carry out the activities by a team member. 

HEADEND DASHBOARD: (Python, JavaScript)

Optimized and increased the relevancy of data from various Smart Metering applications in one user-friendly dashboard. Suggested and implemented various performance tuning, optimization activities, troubleshooting, and application tuning. Resulted in a significant decrease in the need to execute different queries for obtaining the desired output. 

EXECUTIVE DASHBOARD: (PowerBI, MS Access)

Extracted data from the TrackR database which was linked to the dashboard created in PowerBI. Carried out requirements gathering by interpreting the entire scope of the project and understanding the current and future requirements of the dashboard. Created Use Case, Process Flow and Swimlane Diagrams for guiding the flow of various functionalities. Suggested key Business Metrics which were graphically represented on the dashboard with contemporaneous reflection of changes made to the database.
