As a recent graduate with a BA in Financial and Business Economics, I am actively searching for a position in which I can apply my academic knowledge and skills. My education has provided me with a strong foundation in finance and business, as well as exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. I was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship to study abroad based on my performance as one of the top achievers in Botswana. My ultimate goal is to become a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst, and I am seeking suitable opportunities to further enhance my analytical expertise.
As the fund manager of the club, I oversaw financial operations, prepared reports, maximized resources, and allocated funds transparently. This experience has honed my financial management and leadership skills for future roles.
My responsibilities included selling gift certificates, responding to customer inquiries about the spa, and generating daily sales reports that accounted for all sales made during my shift. To streamline my work, I employed a variety of accounting software tools that enhanced my efficiency and helped me to enjoy my work more fully.
My responsibilities involved guiding and supporting first-year students in their transition to university life. As a leader of a cohort of first-year students, I drew upon my own experiences at the university to offer insights and advice that could help them avoid common mistakes and navigate their new academic and social environment successfully. Overall, I found this role to be rewarding, as I was able to contribute to the growth and development of my mentees.
