• 02/01/2023, Volunteer, PAUKTUUTIT INUIT WOMEN OF CANADA, I was a student volunteer for the ballroom set-up of Pauktuutit Inuit Women of Canada’s Inaugural Regional Office Celebration and AGM. I helped set up the large balloon arch and arrange décor. During the Community Event, I welcomed Board Members, delegrates and officials such as the Premier of Nunavut, the President of Pauktuutit, and several territorial ministers and City of Iqaluit councillors. I helped Elders with their coats, seating, food plates, and taxis. I helped distribute door prizes to the Elders.
• 12/01/2022, Volunteer, Music Video filming, I was invited by Inuk director and producer Tiffany Ayalik to film and star in the music video, It’s Not a Bad Life, Just a Bad Day. I followed instructions by the director, and supported Kendrick Bolt, lead writer/vocalist/guitar player, from Kugluktuk. The music video is about mental health and community wellness.
• 01/01/2016, Volunteer, Community Book Sale, I was a helper at 8:30 a.m. to unpack books from boxes and put away boxes. I followed instructions by adult volunteers. My morning shift ended at 10:00 a.m., when the book sale started.
