I’ve been working since the age of 15, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of roles including rental technician at a ski and snowboard shop, courtesy clerk at a grocery store, shift leader at an ice cream shop, construction worker, ski lift operator, waiter, and bar-back. Most of these positions were based in a fast-paced resort town, giving me strong customer service experience under high-pressure conditions. In addition to front-facing roles, I’m also comfortable with behind-the-scenes, physically demanding work like construction and bar-backing. I’ve consistently stood out for my communication skills, work ethic, and efficiency. Since graduating, I’ve worked as an assistant manager, further developing my leadership and organizational skills, and completed a marketing internship, gaining valuable exposure to brand strategy, content creation, and campaign planning.

  • Bar backs were expected to keep an eye on the various bars in the resort, as they all required restocking, money drops, and maintenance throughout the day
  • This job necessitated that I was in good shape, as bar backs were required to walk around the resort daily and be able to lift 150 pound kegs
