It is a paid work experience program focused on preparing youth ages 14-17 within the city limits of Sacramento to ensure these young people have access to adequate, positive opportunities, as well as to develop a ready and capable workforce within the stated region. Crews work directly in community parks and green spaces, weeding, pruning, and providing general park maintenance and clean-up. Maintaining a healthy and clean environment for the community while working with a team.
