This 2-month contract through Multicrete Systems Inc. at the Musselwhites Mine taught me how to operate a 40-ton haul truck in an underground environment. This opportunity also gave me experience in working properly and maintaining the safety protocol in a dangerous environment (ex. working in the proper PPE, being aware of where your hands and limbs are whilst doing routine maintenance ie. pinch points, proper pre-operative inspections, being aware of hazards impeding your safety in your environment, evaluating whether or not the work can continue to be done safely).

Whilst working as a Bartender I refined my customer service and multitasking skills by taking orders, serving food and making complex drinks at On Deck Bar.

After finishing the grade 12 high school curriculum in January of 2024 I went back into roofing. This position gave me more experience in construction, roofing, and labouring work in various weather conditions and temperatures. A solid hard work ethic goes a long. long way in physical labour which is why I excel in any labouring positions in versatile environments.

Throughout the summer in between grade 11 and grade 12 I worked as a Roofing Labourer at Strasser and Lang Roofing Contractors. This position taught me many valuable skills relating to hard work, getting a job done well, and a strong, positive work ethic.
