Collaborate with interdisciplinary health team during psychopharmacology rounds to plan, implement, and co-ordinate patient care in consultation with patients and their families as necessary

Perform head-to-toe assessments and monitor patients, taking detailed medical history, to identify where nursing interventions may be required

Document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions; as necessary, counsel patients in health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention

Perform nursing interventions such as taking vital signs, applying aseptic techniques including sterile dressing, ensuring infection control, monitoring nutritional intake and conducting specimen collection

Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care; where necessary monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy

Administer medications and treatments, whether oral, subcutaneous or intramuscular, as prescribed by a physician
