Lead land acquisition process for solar development opportunities
o Improving potential lands process to acquire or lease out land for large
scaled Nova Scotia projects and Community Distributed Generation in
New York State opportunities by applying spatial analysis in ArcGIS
o Develop and improve land acquisition process based on the projects
requirements: slope, wetlands, interconnection, and financial
requirements

Assist in the permitting process of solar development projects
o Determine if the area of interest aligns with any current solar
regulations and understanding any specific setbacks and requirements
o Evaluate if the requirements are feasible for the proposed solar project
o Provide any materials and maps to complete the permitting process
and town meetings in a timely manner

Manage Solar projects interconnection applications.

• Lead land acquisition process for solar development opportunities

• Prepare State Environmental Quality Review Forms for New York State solar projects
• Short Environmental Assessment Forms and Long Environmental Assessment Forms are prepared based on municipality, town, or state requirements
• Assist in the permitting process of solar development projects
• Determine if the area of interest aligns with any current solar regulations and understanding any specific setbacks and requirements
• Evaluate if the requirements are feasible for the proposed solar project
• Provide any materials and maps to complete the permitting process and town meetings in a timely manner
• Create and design Helioscope estimates for solar projects to determine the estimate sizing and annual energy production
• Perform preliminary interconnection capacity analysis based on the public utility hosting capacity information
• Provide AutoCAD files of parcel, wetlands, and any other information required for the engineering team to produce site plans and interconnection applications

• Assist Party Chief to by completing land surveys for land development purposes
• Perform Topographic surveys using Leica Viva GS 14
• Executed different land surveys and construction surveys for clients such as: Topographic, Boundary, Housing Titles, and Stake outs
• Provided support for the Party Chief by using Leica Total Station to complete land surveys

• Create and update geospatial data by using different techniques such as digitizing, spatial analysis, data conversions, and georeferencing
• Supported the policy and legal team by performing spatial analysis
• Provided support to clients by creating cartographic products and geospatial
