The Resort Transportation and Parking Cast Members are responsible for the following: Welcome & greet our Guests as they arrive at the Resort. Determine and process the appropriate parking charge using a computer-based point-of-sale program. Requires basic computer skills and mathematical skills for providing Guests with change and maintaining a balanced cash drawer. This position requires consistent standing, twisting, and reaching. Assists Guests with loading/unloading of strollers, wheelchairs, and other personal items, constant Guest interaction, and knowledge of Resort and Park information. Visually ensures that Guests/Cast are following safety guidelines. Interacts constantly with Guests, answering questions, providing directions, providing event information, and other services to help create a positive experience for our Guests. Consistently standing, walking, and climbing stairs. Must be able to handle stressful situations, including Guest emergencies and lost children. Requires frequent spieling and the ability to project one’s voice in a courteous manner. Must be proactive with Guests to answer questions and assist when needed. Must be able to multi-task.
This candidate must have acceptable verbal English language communication skills, which include interpersonal conversational skills. The Associate is consistently asked to make correct changes, which demands that he/she have basic math skills. The ability to adapt and follow instructions requires adequate comprehension skills. Essential to this job is the ability to move freely in and around obstacles common in the stores. This individual must be able to move from one work area to another at a moment's notice and in and around crowded work areas. Some lifting and the movement of moderate loads require a 50-pound lifting requirement. This Associate is responsible for the operation of store equipment such as slicers, dicers, computer terminals, fryers, grills, etc. The effective operation of such equipment requires the use of all limbs and the ability to see at a close distance. The ability to report to work at the prescribed time for each scheduled shift and to fulfill the job requirements for the duration of the shift or until relieved of all duties by a direct supervisor. The ability to follow directions from a supervisor. The ability to interact productively with co-workers. The ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures. Merchandise Cast Members have the opportunity to work at a number of locations in both indoor and outdoor environments. Daily responsibilities may include helping Guests by answering questions, providing information and assisting with special requests, operating a point-of-sale system (POS register), cash handling, stocking, inventory, and light cleaning.
Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds during scheduled shifts. Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat during scheduled shifts. In addition to the essential job duties stated above, the ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others, including guests and co-workers, are essential functions of the job. The work environment includes flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises.
