Picking, assembling and loading orders for shipment, both manually and with a Jack pallet

Load and unload materials from the transport trucks

Participate sorting,tagging,shelving and packing of stock

Conduct regular reconciliation between stock records,inventory database and physical stock

Ensured that goods received are of the quality and quantity ordered and in accordance with the agreed price.

Ensured that all items are stored correctly, in terms of temperature, humidity and shelf life and that no food items are stored on the floor.

Ensured correct stock rotation and that issues are affected on a first in, first out basis.

Effective implementation of cycle count on all stocks based on the scheduled.

Checked and received delivered goods and ensured that the goods are in good condition according to the requirements in the approved Local Purchase Order (LPO).

Stored goods in their proper storage area and released supplies and equipment according to the approved requisition document and following First in, first out Method (FIFO).

Monitor and keep the stock control system updated and ensure that the level of inventory is accurately captured.

Supervise loading and stacking of goods into shipping containers by the assigned labor force to ensure safe shipment without damage

Organize offloading of all types of materials to warehouse by proper Materials Handling Equipment’s (MHE) present in Operations or arrange for hiring an external MHE.

Ensure protection of all stock materials in the warehouse and safeguard special storage materials by placing them in dehumidified and hazardous storerooms and recording their locations
