  • Provides regular communications and updates to the Director of Human Resources in support of employee information management, and benefits plans co-administration goals.
  • Regular tasks include management support services including, the collection of employee personal and
    onboarding information, the maintenance of secure storage of employee records, group benefits and pension
    plan co-administration, supporting employees with benefits enrollment, supporting benefits reporting
    requirements, and assisting supervisors with scheduling support.
  • Performs filing, clerical tasks, and data entry and communications tasks, and develops and implements document resources to support the work. A key aspect of all work is ensuring information security and employee privacy are top priority, and that information management activities follow internal policies, and legislation compliance.
  • Reviewing and validating information to ensure accurate data recording and entry within the assigned systems; Informing management as necessary to complete reviews and edits in systems assigned to them (I.e. Time and
    Attendance) - this role supports review of bi-weekly payroll information for all departments.
  • Ancillary tasks - sometimes requested to support other HR staff with new employee intake, and to assist managers with edits to their bi-weekly and rotational schedules Including tracking and validating leaves to ensure accurate leave types
    and earning codes are applied.
  • Engages in daily, weekly, and monthly work planning and reviews plans with the Director, as necessary. Other less frequent tasks include occasionally cross-training for HR work
    offloading from other HR staff, participating in HR teamwork assignments and research projects, and backfilling
    minimal required tasks for other HR department staff during short leaves (i.e. annual vacation). Other related
    duties.
