Summary

For the past 18 years I have grown and excelled in an Executive Assistant role, with the past 10 years being at SAIT. Starting in the School of Manufacturing & Automation in 2014 and moving into the role within Athletics & Recreation in 2016, I believe my specific skillset as well as diverse knowledge of SAIT culture and community would be a natural fit for the available role as Executive Assistant to the AVP of Facilities Management. I am well versed in the specific software and task management requirements outlined as well as have a deep knowledge of SAIT specific applications such as Banner. I am also familiar with the facilities management integral role as steward to the current and future growth of all SAIT property investments.

  • Answered high volume of phone calls and email inquiries.
  • Handled confidential and sensitive information with discretion and tact.
  • Managed executive calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments and coordinating travel arrangements for all 19 athletic team road games as well as department administrative staff.
  • Managed and coordinated travel and lodging for large sporting events managing schedules and logistics for teams and guests (up to 200) attending from across Canada.
  • Facilitated training and onboarding for incoming office staff.
  • Processed travel expenses and reimbursements for executive team and senior management group.

  • Student athlete eligibility data management and entries for 200+ student athletes using shared data software within Alberta and Canadian applications.
  • Work with Purchasing team to develop and execute RFI for vendors utilized by department.
  • Extremely proficient with electronic data management systems as was as development maintenance of filing systems and efficiency designs.
  • Worked with senior management to initiate new projects and assist in various processes.
  • Fire warden and previously back-up captain for Campus Centre.
  • Primary financial support person attending to all department accounts payable and receivable including donations.
