I was the Director of 57 beds and 120 staff , managed the Acute Stroke unit and maintained Comprehensive stroke standards across the 26 bed unit . 8 bed Epilepsy Unit and 22 bed General Practice Unit . We also cared for the Neurosurgery population with HFH. Duties were hiring , training new staff , maintaining safe quality care for all units. Daily focus was on length of stay , bed delays and patient satisfaction .

Managed staff scheduling and time off to adequately staff nursing floors and allow nurses earned time off.
