In my experience as a nursing assistant in the emergency department of San Rafael Hospital in Itagüí, I provided direct support to the medical team in the care of critical patients. My main responsibilities included taking vital signs, assisting in minor medical procedures, administering medications under supervision, preparing equipment and rooms for emergency interventions, and caring for and comforting patients in high-pressure situations.
