Summary

This is an advanced professional, leadership, administrative and mentoring role involving planning, development, implementation, coordination of inpatient physiotherapy staff at St. Clare’s Hospital. This position has responsibilities across all divisions in the facility Surgery, Medicine and Critical Care and may be consulted for complex and challenging patients on the inpatient wards. This position collaborates with the Clinical Practice Leader for Inpatients at the Health Sciences Center site to ensure consistent practice standards and guidelines between the programs for the inpatient acute care sites, as well as create a regional connection for practice issues within Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services. Being situated in a tertiary care facility with provincial programs, the position also acts as a regional and provincial resource as needed.
