*Patient intake: accurately obtain patients current medications, allergies, past medical history, social and family history. Enter into ACCURO EMR.

*Obtain vital signs: Height, weight, blood pressure, pulse and pulse oximetry.

*Perform 12 lead ECG's.

*Under the direction of the Cardiologist, successfully perform stress testing procedures: Exercise Stress Tests and Echocardiogram Exercise Stress Tests. Accurately observe and interpret blood pressure, pulse, and ECGs: at rest, during exercise, and in recovery. Inform doctor of any changes.

*Fit patients with proper equipment for 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and Holter monitoring devices.

*Provide patients with instructions for each procedure and obtain written consent.

*Electronic scanning, faxing, and filing.

*Clean and sterilize equipment between patient use.

*Obtain vital signs: height, weight, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, temperature.

*Perform urinalysis, ECGs, blood sugar checks, visual acuity.

*Document vital signs and lab results in ACCURO EMR for complete physical's, baby check-ups, SGI, CPR, sports and preoperative medicals.

*Prepare treatment room and assist physician for procedures such as: excisions, sutures, suture removal, vasectomies, cortisone injections, IUD insertions and removal, etc.

*Provide instructions and obtain written consent prior to each procedure.

*Triage emergency patients from waiting room to treatment room.

*Act as liaison between patient and doctor.

*Organize and stock exam rooms as well as order supplies as needed.

*Clean, sterilize, and wrap instruments for autoclaving.

*Prepare control solutions and perform control tests daily/weekly as required.

*Clean and disinfect beds, instruments, trays, treatment and assessment rooms.

*Perform ear syringes, nebulizers, dressing changes and burn care.

*Correctly label and package specimens for lab pick up.

*Receive, open and sort large volumes of medical specimens and requisitions.

*Data entry: enter all requisitions into provincial database with high level of accuracy and speed.

*Professionally respond to inquiries by phone and in person.

*Accurately compile, sort, and sort large volumes on incoming and outgoing mail.
