Motivated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) graduate, excited to begin my journey in the healthcare field. With a solid foundation of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills gained during my training, I am eager to apply my expertise and make a meaningful contribution to a healthcare team. I chose to pursue a career as an LVN because the healthcare field has always intrigued me, inspired by my family's involvement in it. I've always found joy in helping others, and nursing provides the perfect opportunity to combine that passion with my skills. • Aiding daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and using the restroom.
• Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and breathing rate.
• Assisting patients with moving, repositioning, and walking to ensure their comfort and safety.
• Supporting healthcare professionals during medical procedures like wound care, collecting samples, and changing dressings.
• Assisting with medication administration under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
• Documenting patient care activities, vital signs, and any significant observations accurately.
• Being vigilant and reporting any changes in patients' condition, behavior, or vital signs to the nursing staff.
• Assisting patients with rehabilitation exercises, therapeutic activities, and recovery programs.
• Engaging patients in recreational activities, providing companionship, and encouraging social interactions.
• Following proper infection control procedures, including hand hygiene, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining cleanliness in the environment.
• Assisting with meal preparation, feeding patients, and ensuring they receive proper nutrition.
