As a Field Engineer, my duties are
Ensure the monitoring of daily work progress and give reports to the authorities.
Carried out concrete strength tests to evaluate the material's structural resilience using techniques that are industry standard, such as compression tests.
Workability, slump, and flow characteristics of fresh concrete were assessed by consistency tests.
The mix designs were modified as needed to attain the ideal consistency, guaranteeing that the concrete fulfilled the specifications for placement and performance.
Test findings were analyzed, and project teams received insights that helped them make well-informed decisions during the building phase.
Convey the plan details to the workers.
Ensure that the beam, column, and other structures are in the correct position per the given design.
Inspection of materials at the site and also ensure the quality of materials used for the construction.
Carried out in-depth site inspections to keep an eye on quality, progress, and design specification compliance.
Supervised construction teams on-site to guarantee adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
Oversaw the acquisition of building supplies, ensuring they were delivered on schedule and that project requirements were followed.
Tracked material use to cut waste and maximize resources, improving cost-effectiveness.
Interpreted and applied engineering drawings and specifications in close coordination with design teams.
Answered questions about design and made it easier for the design and construction teams to communicate.
