  • I stocked the store. My title was a Cap 1 was dissolved, and then I became a shopper for my last year, and it wasn’t a career path I wanted to take. Hours were not ideal for me with two children. Worked for Walmart for 3 years.

  • I started my own business 20 years ago. During that time, I became a foster mom for troubled teen girls. I adopted my two newborn grandchildren and that started me on a new path in life.

  • I typed up all the documents for our clients. We cut and pasted any new information or errors. I answered phones, scheduled inspections, pest control and any work that was required to sale the home. I requested all documentation from title, banks etc. I sent all documents to the buyer/seller for signature/review/ deposit. I notarized all documents for example Grant deed, Trust deed etc. I balanced all the files and distributed all funds after the recording. I left after the merging of these two companies, and I helped the new secretary learn our files and then she took over.

  • An Attorney of Chicago Title, Mr. St. John started this new division that would be the mediator in these high liability cases because the ball was being dropped and was costing the company millions, so I was hired to design this division to make sure all the things required were taken care of in our time sensitive cases. If something came up, I was to figure out how to deal with the issue or call on others to help me resolve any problem that arose. I handled all transactions that were over 1 million dollars. I orchestrated the file from our salespeople acquiring the deal, meeting the clients with myself and my two secretaries. We had to make sure from the start of the purchase to the plans to the development and the building of the company that everything was done, money exchanged, money placed in escrow, all documents to be completed, signed, notarized, filed, recorded etc. All these files were time sensitive, and each one had a different date and had different issues that had to be monitored and resolved. If we found properties had any incumbrances, utilities issue etc. we had to help our clients either figure out how to resolve the issue(s) or find another site to build. Some of our clients were Walmart, Mercury Bank, In & Out, MacDonalds. I left Chicago Title after 6 years.

  • While employed I learned how to conduct research on laws pertaining to our clients’ issues. I am hands to be organized because everything was time sensitive from the start of opening a file, to finalizing a case. I had to have everything filed with the courthouse in a timely manner and also needed to make sure everything was properly date stamped etc. by the courts and returned. Most times I stood in line and had things stamped and filed immediately for our clients, but I had to track the answers from the courts/judges, to ensure we filed in the right venue and country as all our files were all time sensitive. I also was a process server for R & H. I was hired to because I was raised with Mr. Roripaugh and his grandchildren since kindergarten and my grandfather also was a friend of Mr. Roripaugh. We handled the development of the track homes for Roripaugh Ranch along with the family foundation. After that project was completed, I moved on to Chicago Title. I handle other cases, but the Roripaugh family was my main client.

Developer of the Beetle Project

SCE
  • I develop a program where we kept track of the trees that were marked trees that were ready for removal. I approved all invoices of trees that were removed and wood that was purchased from companies.
  • I took helicopter rides once a week where we numbered trees, kept track of the cuts, sale of wood, clean up. I also attended town meetings in Big Bear, Idyllwild etc. to make sure that trees were being removed in a productive and cost-effective way. I worked with the State Forestry as these trees were a big risk for fire as the trees were at a high risk because they could literally explode. I was here for a little over 4 years and then the project was dissolved.

Bear Creek
  • Jack Nicholas hired me to take care of his A/P and A/R for the development of Bear Creek. I worked on the condos, clubhouse, tennis court and the development of the golf course. I worked with Mr. Nicholas until the first skins games and then the development was closed as we finalized everything and then a realtor took over selling the lots.

Howe Torn

Oak Springs
  • I handled the A/P and A/R for all the contractors. Weekly walked the tracks to make sure the contractor completed the work that was invoiced. Their two projects were Oak Springs and Rainbow Canyon homes and golf course.
  • I designed a spreadsheet that worked to take care of each tract and lot along with the club house, golf course, including tracking of permits and grading and working with the cities to get through planning and building process. Made sure that the contracts, prelims etc. were associated with not only the proper lot but also included the proper specs, as we had several different specs to make the homes more personal and not a cookie cutter home. I was here for a little over 4 years until the projects were completed.

  • Took care of payroll for 300+ men, interviewed, hired and terminated personnel. Worked with the courts for men that were having their wages garnished for child support etc. Handled all vacation, sick and personal leaves of absences along with any issues an employee may have regarding our company. I worked here for 2 years and then moved due to my divorce.
