With my background in Environmental Engineering, currently with an Engineer-in-Training designation, I have an aptitude to assist Project managers achieve company goals achieve all involved stakeholder's satisfaction.
I have great communication skills through writing environmental reports, providing feedback to our customers and solving the public's inquiry about compliance and our modus operandi.
I want to transition into the IT world, and I have been accredited a CAPM certification. This achievement shows my desire and ability to learn new skills, improve my personal development and grow my knowledge base.
· Assist with the coordination of contractors and consultants engaged in the operation inspection, repair, renewal, maintenance and rehabilitation of wastewater facilities
· Participation in review of expansion/construction activities
· Maintenance of project files, preliminary designs, shop drawings, schematics and approvals
· Respond to inquiries from staff, contractors and suppliers and ability to deal with management, peers, staff and the general public
· Operation and maintenance of advanced wastewater treatment plants, with conventional treatment and solid waste management included
· Preventative Maintenance of equipment such as gauges, pipes, pumps, valves, fittings, heating boilers, air blowers and incinerators
· Daily use of computerized monitoring systems such as SCADA, CMMS and others to monitor plant processes and initiate repairs for maintenance
· Continuous liaise with our clients, the Region of Peel to perform analytical laboratory tests to trace abnormal conditions and understand major deviations
· Working knowledge of standard safety precautions including storage of chemicals, confined space entry, SCBA, air quality monitors, equipment lockout/tagging and personal protective equipment to manage the treatment facilities
· Train new staff on report writing, interpreting engineering drawings and company’s communication system and SOPs.
· Performing cash flow diagram, computing cash flow, time value of money, interest and equivalence, compound interest formulas
· Annual worth analysis and evaluation of Alternatives with equal lives, common multiple lives, continuous lives, and fixed study
· Calculation of internal rate of return, incremental internal rate of return, multiple IRRs and External Rate of Return (ERR)
· Introduction of depreciation, book value, depreciation methods, depreciation and asset disposal, depreciation for tax purpose (capital cost allowance factor), and calculation of capital cost allowance factor.
