
Having seen many different work environments, and career paths, my level of care and attentiveness to any given task is what defines my ability. A willingness to learn, and maintain resilience, allow me to stay on a pivot and keep pace with the everchanging landscape of demanding work.
I served as both a prep and line cook. I mainly worked the fry station, and the flat-top. This included preparing all daily ingredients that I needed on the line, as well as mise en place for each respective station. I also served as a main closer, being one of the last people out of door meant checking each stations for cleanliness, doing counts, and all other miscellaneous tasks.
My main function was the closing lead. I would come in around the mid-day downturn and systematically: clean, organize, and restock the entire the entire back of house. Alongside those duties I also, did stock numbers once a month, covered most call-outs, and thoroughly cleaned all machines nightly.
