  • Applying field experience and office experience under a no superintendent business model.
  • Teaching a team of college graduate PEs and interns General Contracting skills for both in the field and office work. This included overseeing each PEs assigned scopes for guidance + coachability through the life cycle of the project.
  • Managed a tight timeline, Change Orders, and daily negotiations with subcontractors that have existing contracts+ schedule written by another GC that was inherited.
  • Perform billings, Change order management, Submittal & RFI review, Inspection reports and oversight, TCO & CofO check list with all respective parties, Schedule management, Deficiency log oversight.
  • Responsibilities in Social Business development with potential new clients, preliminary reviews, Project estimating, Bid leveling.

  • Underwriting the Master Contract in order to obtain the GMP, our team adapted to drastic budgetary and timeline constraints, however, despite these changes, we were able to carve out $1 Million in savings through additional sub-contract negotiations and internal VE options.

  • Diligently comb through and analyze plan sets to keep an accurate as build set. This includes ASK's, Bulletins, and slip sheets for correct scope changes and proper trade pricing.

  • Hired in the Bay area for a new region of multifamily.. Leveraging previous relationships with subs to buyout the Aegis San Rafael project along with vetting & expanding future bid clientele for all trades related to Multifamily.
  • Vetting an entire new subbase for proper bid leveling leading to a 3.5M buyout savings on a 46M project.
  • In Pre GMP contract, facilitation in final negotiations, budget, VE options, scheduling, and design revisions leading to a solid foundation to kick off the project for success.
  • Led a short-staffed project of two; responsibilities extended to managing the field with no Sr. Superintendent while maintaining project management responsibilities.
  • Accurately tracking a difficult design team with nearly a complete redesign within 10CCD sets and 8ASI issuances in the first 8 months of construction.

  • Involved in leading the field team and building a relationship with the owners, I was the designated 'closer' on this project that took several months with weekly meetings as units of the building were sold, and warranty issues were discovered.
