In the last 9 years Ive been working on and off in the bay area / delta with Brusco tug & barge and Curtin maritime. When I wasnt in the bay area I was working in Alaska, Oregon or Washington. My first trip as Jr captain was Aug -Sep of 2022. ive been sailing as a 2nd Captain since Aug 2023 to current .Most of my time in the bay has been with Brusco. The jobsites ive done with one and two barges , are the Old sacrament river rock job from San Rafael to the fixed pioneer bridge in down town Sacramento. Ive been to Stockton, False River, 3 mile slough, decker island, collinsville at the liberty, richmond long wharf, Richmond graving docks, Red wood city, Benica dock, broad slough, shuffled barges at rio vista yard. Im familiar with SF VTS, Im familiar with the bay area and delta. the two boats ive operated with the Terri L Brusco and the Arthur Brusco. As a 2nd Captain I was I was in charge of logs, safety meeting, JSA's, vessel audits, safety drills, monthly checklist's, keeping boat paper work / equipment up to date, and managing the crew. Im eager to leverage leadership skills and operational knowledge for continued professional growth.
