Proclaiming Our Roots - Advisory Committee

  • Meet regularly in regards to the proclaiming our roots project, to discuss avenues of moving forward with various types of media in production.
  • Attend semi annual meetings in person to discuss said productions more in depth in person rather than online meetings.

Cooking Classes

  • Done multiple cooking classes teaching basic skills and traditional recipes at various community locations.
  • Classes were taught in a local youth shelter, a local women's shelter, and community center, all in Simcoe county. Taught a variety of ages from under 10 up to senior citizens.
  • We've also donated prepared food to the local shelter and women's shelter on a number of occasions.
