William Hawrelak Park Rehabilitation Project ~ April 2023 - July 2023 - Contributed to the installation of pressurized pipes and associated fittings such as valves, tees, bends, and hydrants. - Collaborated closely with pipe layers, handling tasks such as pipe cleaning, ensuring alignment, taking shots, checking for proper grade, and hand signaling for back will. - Aided in the placement of manholes, catch basins, and related structures. - Managed on-site material movement and efficiently loaded and unloaded tools and equipment. - Spearheaded the connection of high-max's for waterline, and adhered to site-specific guidelines when pouring concrete collars and thrust blocks. - Demonstrated expertise in using Plate Tampers and Jumping Jacks. - Safely navigated in and out of excavations and trenches using ladders. - Delivered consistent high-quality work in challenging outdoor conditions. - Supported the foreman/supervisor by executing assigned tasks promptly.
Sil Industrial Minerals: Winter Maintenance ~ November 2nd, 2022- April: Cutting and benching manholes- Helping install concrete pipe (ranging in size from 650-950mm)- Assisting in backfill and performing various labor related tasks.- Setting up, operating, and dismantling of 2" submersibles, 3” trash pumps, 4-6” pumps, and hydraulic sludge pumps involving an Hitachi Long-Stick Track Hoe.- Operate loader to compensate for staffing shortage when required.- Showcased skills in manhole cutting and benching, and played a pivotal role in installing concrete pipes (sizes between 650-950mm)
Nutrien Gyp Stack Reclamation 2022 Project Phase 1 - September 2022-November 1st 2022: Assisted the Sewing Crew in laying and sewing Geotextile Fabric to encase perforated pipe.- Assisted the Curtain Crew in lowering the sewn geotextile fabric and perforated pipe into theground for backfill.- Setting up, operating, and dismantling of 2" submersibles, 3” trash pumps, 4-6” pumps, and hydraulicsludge pumps involving an Hitachi Long-Stick Track Hoe.- Set up Job Site Light Towers/ Floodlight Towers.- Cleaned Excavator Tracks and worked safely around heavy machinery.- Help build culverts for the frequently changing roads on the jobsite.
