• Actioning tickets from clients in a professional manner including access card troubleshooting, creating new badges & on-boarding, Troubleshooting door hardware & access control maintenance.

• Creating business strategies to effectively run operations with limited budget including in-housing repairs of thea ccess control, CCTV & alarm systems, creating maintenance logs for all devices on site, and effecting quarterly inspections to ensure all of our devices are compliant with the RCMP policies and guidelines.

• Managing Complex Tasks such as implementing Risk assessments, IATO, SA&A and Business case study requests from IT security for systems to ensure no vulnerabilities during implementation of new systems, which includes hardening of devices and user system administration.

• Project Management executing a one card solution department wide after installation of new readers (HID Signo) by base building created issues with our users

• Co-Working with other departments including IT security ITservices, Ministers office and Accommodations in order to ensure all Tasks and Project Objectives are completed and deadlines are met .

• Purchasing security & Office equipment from authorized d ealers and contracting for work needed on site up to 50,000$.

• Installing Security systems for Companies in and around the Otawa area ex: Government of Canada and other multiple high security sites
• Configuing and installing Hardware and Software systems, Access and intrusion such as RFID card readers, Door strikes, Motion detection, Sirens, Keypads, Door contacts, Turnstiles, traka cabinets, Door operators and more
• Backend and front end wiring of Boards, Switches, Relays and devices
• Using variety of tools and equipment to complete any job efficiently Safely and Professionally Ex: Drill, Side Cutters, Ariel Work platforms, and more
• Physically Engaged on ladders, pulling cable network cat5e/6/fibre and access control, carrying 50-100lbs
• Completing complex detail oriented tasks ex: Fibre optic splicing mechanical and fusion, Security software solutions programming including Brivo, Lenel ONguard, Genetec, AMAG Symmetry, Avigilon, Axis, Milestone, Feenics, Kantech, Wavestore, Bosch, Pelco, DSC

• Monitoring security Threats for potential malicious activity and investigate Flagged Incidents
• Determining the classification and the severity of alerts and analyzing potential impacts on Customers and Clients
• Reporting on threats and vulnerabilities to management, Engaging in threat hunting, Deploying and maintaining security infrastructures
• Implementing and tuning security controls, Creating and maintaining procedures and knowledge articles
• Using Python scripts to scan networks for vulnerable ports, and automation of penetration testing for web services along with selenium
• Using Cisco ASA firewall interface performing a variety of tasks such as creating, modifying, and deleting firewall rules, monitoring traffic & managing VPN connections
• Using SIEM dashboards to monitor networks, Collecting and analyzing log data from various devices and systems, such as servers, routers, and firewall, and creating detailed incident response reports
