Accomplishments

Some of my accomplishments in life are being part of the military and in the future having the opportunity to deploy and serve my country in any way that i can. My next accomplishment is to be a full time crew chief with the 146th air lift wing.

Certification

Working with hand tools and power tools such as :

- Torque wrenches (foot pounds and inch pounds)
- Micrometers and Gauges
- Breaker bars
- 6 point and 12 point, box-end, open end and combination wrenches
- Ratcheting wrench with crow foots, standard and deep sockets
- Channel lock, duck bills, flat nose, needle nose, diagonal, and lock pliers

Diagnosing and solving malfunctions of aircraft systems and components by using measurement,
test, and diagnostic equipment. Analyze, repair, and replace aircraft components. Plan and organize
work with other specialists to ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and applicable technical
orders/regulations. Revise and maintain technical orders, manuals and work cards in accordance with
Air Force regulations. Input and sign-off in GO81 (8035, 9099, 9006, 9050) and 781 forms. Recommend
actions to correct deficient inspection findings. Interpret technical publications applicable to inspecting,
maintaining, repairing, servicing, and modifying aircraft. Follow Technical Order publications to
accomplish safe practice and procedures. Ensure tools are properly marked, calibrated, secured, and
inventoried in accordance with established procedures.


Inspection of major aircraft assemblies such as Landing gear systems, gear boxes, and airframe
components, making sure that each component functions as per the United States Air Force technical
order system. Accurately document all finding and all maintenance actions in the appropriate AFTO
forms 781 H/A/J/K

Skilled in reading and understanding instructions, specifications, blueprints, technical orders, ability to
read data and settings from cockpit instruments and gauges, ability to rig, function test or troubleshoot
systems, determine when they are operating properly or whether portions of the system should be
repaired or replaced and the type and extent of adjustment and alignment needed, all without the need
for supervision. Principles of Mathematics, Equations and Performance Formula’s; Working with whole
numbers, adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, adding, subtracting and multiplying negative
numbers, working in fractions, division in sixteenths, adding and subtracting decimals, equivalents,
fractions and percentages, proportions, equations, using formulas.

Position duties include maintain, disassemble, repair, and reassemble major aircraft systems, their
assemblies, and components. Advise on problems maintaining, servicing, and inspecting aircraft and
related aerospace equipment. Evaluate aircraft components during inspections for signs of corrosion,
damage and worn components. Interpret and advise on maintenance procedures and policies to repair
aircraft and related equipment. Troubleshoot and maintain aircraft structures, systems, components,
and related equipment. Remove and install aircraft components. Conduct functional tests of repaired
components and systems. Adjust, align, and rig aircraft systems. Perform daily inspections on assigned
aircraft, isochronal inspections during major aircraft overhaul and refurbish, assist aircrews in pre-flight,
post-flight, and PR/BPO inspections. Coordinate maintenance during C-130J isochronal inspection check
with multiple shops. Perform aircraft jacking, lifting, and towing. Perform C-130J flight line and transient
aircraft maintenance which include troubleshooting, servicing, rigging and repairing of major aircraft
components such as flight controls, landing gear, cargo doors, and other components such as crew entry
door and wing-to-body seals. Repair, rework, and replace components or parts of systems to assure
proper systems operation. Direct operation and modification of standard operating procedures.
Evaluate activities for compliance with directives. Review maintenance data collection summaries to
determine trends and production effectiveness.
