Summary
In my five year span aboard MCAGCC, I have had the chance to grow my aquatic repertoire. I started here at MCCS as a NF2 lifeguard where I quickly assumed the role of lead lifeguard. I soon after acquired my WSI certification and started to teach the youth swim team for one year. I then took the position of military aquatics water safety instructor and took over the MARSOC, RECON, and MCIWS preparatory program where I gained a mass amount of knowledge about military aquatics and how to properly program for it. I also have been an LGI for the last two years assisting in the certification of incoming guards as well as providing in-service training for current staff.
