I am both an emergency room nurse and a stroke certified nurse with strong clinical background that provides nursing assessment and attentive care to those patients that present with signs and symptoms of a stroke. I am responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating services and activities associated with the Mobile Stroke Unit and the stroke program at Mills-Peninsula Medical Center. I am also responsible for both establishing and monitoring clinical performance criteria and for assuring compliance for both the mobile stroke unit and the stroke center regulatory requirements. I am capable to maintain all compliant and safety standards while working well under pressure and produce error-free environment to patients and staff. Proficient in English and Spanish.
