Case hospital is a 100-bed capacity specialist private referral hospital located within the central business district of Kampala serving individuals from all regions of the country.

  • Reviewed, took history, physically examined, investigated and successfully treated on average 40 patients on a daily basis at the out-patient department.
  • Conducted three daily clinical rounds for the admitted patients updating them on their clinical progress, investigation outcomes and any treatment changes if any.
  • Assisted senior physicians and surgeons during assessments, examinations and surgical interventions.
  • Completed patient referrals to other medical specialists.
  • Worked hand-in-hand with the nursing and support staff to implement treatment directives, place IV lines, take off bloods and carry out any pending radiological investigations.

  • Organized and led bi-weekly and monthly clinical and management meetings and ensured smooth running of the clinic activities.
  • Provided prompt supervision and mentorship to a clinic staff population of 20 individuals supporting all staff to work at their full potential.
  • Developed and headed a committee for SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the clinic to ensure standards of care were adhered to at all levels of clinical care.
